My Favorite Thing About Far Cry 3

Jason Schreier:

"So what is this game?"

Seems like a simple question, right? Usually there's a simple answer: "It's a platformer where you save the princess by jumping through deserts and oceans." "It's a sci-fi shooter. You blast away aliens." "High-school simulator meets dungeon-crawler."

Far Cry 3 is a little bit harder to define. Maybe that's why I like it so much. (Far Cry 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Bugged and Glitched co-op.I have never had one problem with the co-op at all.I have had a couple of hiccups in the SP but nothing that made me be concerned more of a laugh or two.The SP is just do enteresting and fun in so many ways.If this doesnt win GOTY then im sorry the gaming community has no clue of what a complete packaged game truely is.

best thing about far cry 3-the single player

it is amazing, epic, and awesome

multiplayer is decent

co-op is ok

but damn that single player, its 10/10 for me, maybe 9.9/10

The bow and arrow alone is my favorite thing out of the game. Made me feel like such a bad ass. The campaign was good too but I think it would have been netter just to focus on Jason and his friends. The whole tribe thing was just a little to much. Still love the game though.

The sheer amount of random things that happen is what makes it great for me.

The gun gameplay, action, physics, graphics, AI, the driving.
The campaign single player, the open world, the fact that the main mission felt like a non open world and where unique and fun, well pasted.(it make me want Killzone 4 to be open world like this and why not TLOU2 and any other game that fits into it, fc3 proved that open world's can have linear quality Hollywood style of campaign into a open world game, specially KILLZONE3 will have fit perfectly into a open world)
The wild life and locals/mercenaries.
The rpg elements, leveling up was fun to do and well placed, it keep the game always fresh (something GOW always do well)

I did not like
The brainwashing loading menu, "kill, him, men, lick, death, etc etc" very iluminati .
SPOILER ALERT* The big anunaki colossus devil Satan, very iluminati.

... You do realise that every game does not have to be the same right? About 6 years ago people were probably saying your exact comments, but about Call of Duty 4 and look where that lead us. To 6 years of stale non-innovative FPS's.

Also what do you mean very illuminati? Nothing about this game was "very illuminati", and Anunnaki were Sumarian Gods/Aliens, so the demon was not an Anunnaaki either.

Awesome singleplayer and map creator though, shame about the poor co-op and tacked on online.

This game is one of the best for me in 2012. It feels so alive. Sneaking through jungle with bow, planting a landmine on the road and watching it explode after an anemy car runs over it, being a hitman and kill all these foes in a stealthy way...Damn, this game deserves some sort of a prize, it's just awesome.
