Top 10 Most Popular iOS And Android Games Of 2012

Chris Buffa (Modojo): We lost track of how many great iOS and Android games debuted this year. 2012 was indeed a great time to own an iPhone 5, fourth generation iPad or Samsung Galaxy S3. That said, we dove into our traffic reports to find out which titles were the most popular. While none of these games should be a surprise, given their high quality, the ones that didn't make the cut are even more shocking. No Angry Birds Space? The community has spoken. (Android, Asphalt 7: Heat, Dead Trigger, Eternity Warriors 2, Happy Street, iPad, iPhone)

True...this isn't our official list of best games of 2012. This is purely numbers driven, based on what our readers/visitors were searching for throughout the year. :)

MC4 is easily the best mobile FPS on any mobile device to date. It looks incredible and for the price its a steal!

iOS and Android games have come a long way in a very short time and many more recent games offer console style experiences, especially in terms of visuals.

Bard's Tale (a 3.5GB) download is an absolute must have for RPG fans, especially since its only around $3.
