Guild Wars 2, XCOM, Borderlands 2 lead Amazon digital download ‘End of the Year’ sale

In just one day retailers go from ‘Holiday Sale’ to ‘End of the Year Sale’ and today is the first day to reap the benefits of clearance. Amazon has drastically cut the prices of some of 2012 best games on PC and Mac. Giant titles like ‘Guild Wars 2′, ‘Borderlands 2′ and more have been reduced over 50% for a limited time. Here are the details.

The sale is called the ‘End of the Year Sale’ and it is on digital downloads for PC and Mac but the games being offered each day are subject to change. With that being said, if you have been waiting for a price-cut to pick up any of the games below, now is your chance to pounce. A few of these titles that are on sale were just competing in the VGA 2012 awards and a few of these games listed below even won. There are dozens and dozens of titles on sale but we listed some of the standout titles that are being featured below.
