I want this... Localized... So bad... (Primarily for the new HD 358/2 Days scenes) That game's story was so amazing, it's unfortunate the graphics and gameplay were a bit lacking on the DS. It controlled well enough, it's just that the game had you going to the same places doing the same things over and over until about 3/5 of the way through when it started getting really good.
Regardless, I'm importing a copy. Kinda want the option of Japanese audio as well despite really liking the English one.
Also, anyone know what this will retail for? In yen of course, just curious if it will be a full priced game or something along the lines of other HD Collections.
It's hard to guess the price on Japanese market but since I don't think they'll put the game for 7,800 yen my guess has to be something along the lines of the other HD Collections, but in Japan that's almost the price for a full game in America; around 5,000 Yen for standard versions, you know they always do some special editions and the price of those depends on what the Special Edition comes with. Rememberd paying 21,000 Yen for TOX2 DX Edition and 9,000 Yen for Okami Zeikkeban P.E ...
But oh well It really depends, it won't be cheaper than 4,500 Yen that's for sure ...
Ah... Just checked out their Japanese site, and it appears as though it will be 6,980 Yen. I can get a pre-order import for 82 bucks, which isn't too horrible.
Also, if someone can read Japanese better than I can... If you go to 1.5 ReMIX's site, does it say that they're doing a PC version as well?? o_o
The thing that gets me, is that for one they haven't announced a localization yet. If they were planning on doing one (which they should be) you'd think they would have mentioned it. Also, this does contain the Final Mixes which were of course Japan only, so that is another reason to worry.
I think the biggest issue though, is that SE hasn't been reliable at all this generation. They've done a lot of stupid things lately. Kind of worried this will be another one...
If the final mixes included additional voice acting over it's western release then it could be a problem, as sometimes getting the same voice actor can be difficult. They may also have licensing issues when it comes to the Disney IP's in the game for western territories, but that can only be speculated on. The game would definitely sell, and most HD rereleases have done will this gen.
I think they are holding back on an announcement until they can figure out how long it will take, so they can give a time frame for it. Either that or they want to emphasize other games which are coming out first.
The SE e-store always sells their game at higher cost and they never ever decrease, don't ask me why though!
As I always says, as long as you can pay for it and/or you're happy with it, it's not bad. I was reading the website too, they added KH2 features to KH1, it appears that they're treating the game as a remade not just as an HD collection, and it includes 3 games not 2 games, that's why the price as well, my bad I thought it was KH1 And 358/2)!

Theres already an English voice option how hard is localization? I want this game as a summer release if not sooner. I doubt SE could be selfish enough to keep it exclusive. And no on give me any crap about importing it I shouldnt have to do anything extra to have this game.

They will give out some kind of pre order bonus e-items for the pc browsers, nothing special I guess.
