1UP's Favorite Games of 2012: Gravity Rush

1up.com: In Gravity Rush, you have one of the most ambitious open-world games ever attempted. No, it's nowhere near as big as a Grand Theft Auto or Elder Scrolls game, but what it lacks in scale it makes up for with freedom. The key concept around which Gravity Rush revolves is free movement in all three dimensions. Its name didn't come about by accident, after all. The protagonist, Kat, can slip free of gravity's proverbial surly bonds and flings herself in any direction. (Gravity Rush, PS Vita)

It would be nice to see this game on home consoles too. I love kat and I hope Sony makes a Gravity rush 2 soon cause my vita needs more games like this.

I love this game as well its is well put together at first for a short while it felt a little repetitive but after you meet alias and give him the town gem it picked up like crazy in terms of character progression and story it was difficult to put down and take a break kat is an awesome new character that will be a memorable character many gamers will love

Great game the art and character designs are amazing. Loved it but it was too repetitive. It needed more variety like puzzles, dungeons like Zelda, more moves and combos, and more npcs who give quests. Also stores to enter and more costumes. Great start I believe the sequel will remedy any niggles people had.

yeah this^^ although GR is my goty and amazing, i still got a small love/hate relationship with it. There is everything:gameplay, art, music, characters, unique world, but almost no further content to flesh out the cities and other things. This game definitely needed more dialog with npc, interaction adn sidequest, a lock on feature, hack and slash like combat that can be further improved through out the game,
more variety in gameplay, more rpg elements, explorable houses, items, collectibles(give kat a reason to explore Hekseville),a more understandable story, a vareity of enemies, a main villain, a deeper character development. I have no doubt, that the sequel will deliver on every front

They definitely should make Kat the official mascot of the Vita. Don't stop with just one game but expand her character & world she lives in.

Gravity Rush makes perfect use of all the Vita's functions that doesn't make it feel gimmicky at all. It is immersive & a technical marvel for just a handheld game.

Besides Kat is adorable & so lovable i don't think anyone in their right mind can hate on her.

I agree Sony should make Kat and Dusty the Vita mascots. This game definitely deserves a sequel.
