As we all know, the NRA is under heavy scrutiny and debate of potential enactment of even stricter gun laws. And it was just a matter of time before the video games industry is passed the blame torch.

Same. I played GTA3 when I was 10 and I've never been in a fight in my life. I mean sure there were moments where I was pissed enough to hit something but never someone.
While all the bellends want to blame video games, I might as well stick my oar in and delve into whatever else Adam Lanza did or experienced.
Let's blame school, because he went through an education. Let's blame guns because he owned some. Let's blame food because he ate. Let's blame America because that's where he lived. Let's blame his mother because he had one. Let's blame Mount Everest because they both share a planet. Let's blame tv, radio, books, music, movies, McDonald's, KFC, Coca Cola, salt, sugar, blah, blah, blah...... You get the point.
All of those have been ignored, but all of them are just as plausible as an excuse as video games. Why can't any of these idiots understand that the only thing to blame would be Adam Lanza and a very real possibility of mental illness?
why blame anything the truth is... america got some mentally ill people in this country, some rich and some poor.
truth is.. guns in the wrong hands can lead up to massacre and mayhem. banning guns can also lead into a worst case scenario. in fact banning guns won't do any good, we need to get rid of every gun.
in fact anything negative towards our constitution is simply unpatriotic and blaming a tool for our negligence is irresponsible. what we really need to do is direct our attention where its needed.
yeah... sure video games are as bad as guns. They kill you on impact. soon as you put the disk in the console or click on them in Steam or Origin, or play them on a board game or tablet or touch device you just die with agony. STFU! Games don't kill people guns don't kill people. PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE
Rubbish, I have been playing violent games for a long time and its never effected me in any way.

It's important.
I watch five minutes of Dexter or read a chapter in a Palahniuk book and I'm already ten people into a hit list!
People need to understand the psychology behind these forms of media before they judge them.
