The Sh***est Games of 2012

Escapist: "There's something to be said for tradition, and the Jimquisition's most sacred tradition is the year-end evisceration of the year's very worst game.
Quake in fear, O ye creatively impoverished fools!
Presented to you with a slight guilt that the hard work of devs are being crapped on during Christmas Eve. Not Jim's fault, though! Blame the inventor of the calender, Gregor Gregori!" (Nintendo DS, PC, PS Vita, PS3, Xbox 360)

Gotta agree with Steel Battalion .

Even though I'm not a fan of the series, I have a friend who is, and he was devastated when he found out how big a piece of shit this one turned out to be.

He kinda knew it would be...because...you know...Kinect, but nobody could have predicted how catastrophic it would be.

I own a Kinect and was a fan of the original Steel Battalion. Somehow they should of made the original beast of a controller to work with some Kinect features. That would of been more acceptable. Playing this game and it just felt to weird for me. The controls kinda worked but it just didn't feel the same.

"The controls kinda worked"

That's the over-statement of the year.

It's the truth though, the game did work in the sense that it was functional, it just wasn't what some people wanted.

But yeah, it was one of this year's best for me!

sh"tiest games of 2012??

well i would go back far as 2006 to answer that question. but for now hold onto my last bubble.
i'll hold my tongue on that.

plenty of sh"tty ps3 games though.

(my personal experience)

That Battleship game that was based on the movie.
Kran  +   644d ago
...which was also based on a board game. MINDFUQ.
aLucidMind  +   644d ago
...which oddly had more plot than the movie lol.

Most underrated is inversion, I loved that game. Amazing story.

Uh......nice try. I hardly call a game reviving a series a sh**ty game....u should troll harder next time.

Stealth PS3 trolls attack!

Halo 4 only widened the gap between the quality of console exclusive fps games.

Arbitrarily hating on a game doesn't make you cool or edgy. Just makes you look foolish.
scotchmouth  +   644d ago
Maybe he wasnt trying to be edgy. Maybe he sincerely didnt enjoy the game. Its ok for people to not enjoy a game.

Its all subjective
Septic  +   643d ago
Really? How is Journey in any way sh*t? Please clarify.
PurpHerbison  +   635d ago
Septic, you are not supposed to reply. When the fish hook gets casted, don't fall for the bait.

Surprised Silent Hill:Downpour and Resident Evil:Racoon City isn't here...both terrible titles that tarnished the legacy of one of gaming's best franchises.

The Game of Thrones game was pretty bad. I even remember seeing Walmart sell it like 2 weeks before street date and didn't look like a single copy had been sold off the shelves.
