Can a gamer in the know please tell me bout this "se7en reference"???

Se7en is a movie with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. It's about a serial killer who kills chooses his victims based on the seven deadly sins. His last victim is Brad Pitt's wife. He cuts her head off and puts it in a box. Then it's delivered to Brad Pitt and he starts asking "What's in the box?" AAAAAAND that's why "The Box" made me think of a Se7en reference.

You have a very strange way of extrapolating references from the most innocuous of things. :)

Se7en is overrated. I was thinking more Mulholland Drive. Silent Hill ain't no thriller.

Well, referenced movies don't have to be good.

That's true actually haha.

While you're right about most of the movie. The assumption that it was her head in the box is just an assumption. Look it up. They never ever.. ever actually tell you what was in the box.. In fact I believe Morgan Freeman did an interview and said he was sworn to secrecy as to what was actually in the box.

It could have been a unborn baby. His wife was pregnant in the movie.

"open world survival horror" I like it already, hopefully someone else will pick up the project.

I didn't play it much but it didn't seem truly open world, more seperate areas and you travel to each of them... also, it wasn't very good :P
