Also by saying the IT is "really stupid" you're also alienation a lot of potential readers. You say you're not going to talk about it but quickly add your 2cents in on it before you continue anyway.

Unnecessary. Also there is no distinction between the ending of Mass Effect's stories and the ending of Mass Effect 3. The ending of Mass Effect 3 IS the ending of the story. Not here to talk about the ending of ME3, but are here to talk about the ending of ME's stories. Right.
You know they're both the same thing right? The ending may had been bad but that doesn't make it part of a different game or story, its still the 'official' ending. No point trying to overlook it.
