New details emerge for Dead or Alive 5 Plus

Video game developer Team NINJA has revealed that Dead or Alive 5 Plus, the company's upcoming fighting game for PlayStation Vita, will come to the handheld system on March 19, 2013. When it does, it will feature cross-platform features that allow players to play matches against opponents on both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita while sharing costumes across both platforms. (Dead or Alive 5 Plus, PS Vita)

Oh my Gosh! That is awesome. At least we know we will always be able to find an online match. This is what I want from more Developers that bring their games to the Vita, that will also be on the PS3. Croos-Platform for the win. I also like the first person mode. This is no straight port and happy to see that it will be worth the wait and have unique features.

Now, hopefully we will see some sports games do it.

I agree, that was a good call on their part. DOA is one of the few fighting games I really enjoy, and it's a day one for me. Haven't heard of this 1st person mode though. Still wondering what they'll do with the rear touch screen.:)

I'm seeing a theme thus far on the feedback about DOA5+.

Its probably because IMO the vita is a handheld and having to play a console/console like game on the go just makes gaming feel fresher and more interesting :D

I said it once I'll say it again. The Vita is the best console to play fighting games. They just feel at home on the Vita.

Vita = The New Arcade :D
