Borderlands 2 Raising Level Cap Soon, More DLC Planned

IGN writes:

"Gearbox isn't done with Pandora yet. The recently announced Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt is only the third of four planned pieces of DLC for the loot-based shooter, and 2K wants to continue to support the game even afterwards." (Borderlands 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

A little late on that, considering they've already released TWO dlc expansions, and a 3rd on the way soon. I'm about ready to trade the game, because I've finished the game twice, including both dlc packs... with 2 different characters, and both are lvl 50 ; it's no longer fun.

Agreed. Should of raised it with the second DLC. I payed for the season pass and already bored with it. Damn season passes, got me again. When will I learn?

They raised it with the third dlc on the first bl, I wait till they raise the cap to play the DLC.

i put the game down after the first DLC. I dont have fun playing games without evolving my character, guns only take you so far. would like to spend more skill points..

I will stop playing when I reach the cap

I'm still playing this game across 5 characters and haven't gotten one of them to level 50 yet. My highest is a level 48 siren.

I'm not worried about a level-cap raise atm, but I know there are a ton of people who have played the hell out of this game and have multiple level 50s already. But even if you're level 50, you can still increase the stats of your character through badass points. To me it seems there's always *something* to do other than leveling up.

This IP is my favorite series this generation but this is in bad taste Gearbox. They should raise the level cap with these last two releases, withholding a cap raise until new DLC is released outside of the Season Pass is...disappointing.
