Hidetaka Miyazaki, who served as director on Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, will not return as director for Dark Souls II. Instead Hidetaka Miyazaki will act as a supervisor and the game will be directed by Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura.
