The WarZ Now Forces Players To Accept Their Terms Of Service Which Disallows Refunds With New Patch

After yesterday’s Steam Page issue, The WarZ is at it again with a new patch that now forces players to accept a Terms of Service that disallows refunds and introduces more pay-to-win aspects into the game. (PC, The War Z)

this just keeps getting worse. I've played the game and hell I've even enjoyed it at times but now when I log-in I have about 10 minutes of free time before someone kills me for no reason. I don't even have time to find a gun to defend myself. it's a boring experience.

Yeah i hate those so called bandits. They just hide like little B****es and wait till someone rolls in just to kill you and strip you of your hard earned loot. They need to change it so you wont lose your stuff even after you die. ESPECIALLY if that loot was bought using real money from the marketplace.

they way I would like to see it is a Runescape type model where you only keep the first 4 or 5 items you have, everything else goes.

Doesn't mean its enforceable, plenty of ways you could still get refunds, they are false advertising so that would get you a refund.

I'm loving this story, mostly because i know they will not get away with this. There are audiences you can rip off like this and probably get away with it but not gamers. In any group of ten gamers there are at least two obsessive idealists with lots of free time who will go to the ends of the Earth to see somebody pay and pay big for attempting to rip them off. I know because I'm one of them. Luckily I didn't buy this product so I'm content to sit back with popcorn and obsessively follow this story while my nerd brothers and sisters do all the work.

If I was Gabe Newell, I'd demand these guys give refunds or get delisted, and on top of that, refuse to put any of their future games on Steam, though from the sounds of things, it seems like the studio and its creators are going to get blacklisted anyway.

Maybe the dude in charge can go work on Big Rigs 2.
