Lucas Fox of Just Press Start uncovers more details behind the shady dealings of The War Z developers including the more recent mass banning that took place the weekend before the game went up on steam.
Good thing I haven't purchased this yet.
and you'll never have to.
From my experience, don't buy it. It is just a polished turd.
Actually, polished is too much of a positive word. Can't think of anything more degrading than that.
Yeah the beta was pretty bad. Haven't really touched it since about 2 months ago.
Holy crap this keeps getting worse and worse.... *grabs popcorn*
Actually, this is the same news from last week. Nothing new here.
I'd be calling the Better Business Bureau and my state's attorney general. That's awful.
A friend of mine was telling me about this game yesterday. But, now that I have read this article, I can guarantee you that I won't buying this game. I would hate to be cheated out of my money like some of these other people.
I wonder if this article will hit n4g as well http://au.pc.gamespy.com/pc... Really shocking interview.... total scumbag.
LOL this guy is sprouting bull the likes i have never seen.Valve seriously need to take action, keeping this up now is just as bad as partaking in it.And i feel bad for all those who wasted money on this quick buck game.
i never heard of war z
I regret buying this game the day it went into beta...
I bought it for $30, when it was in Alpha, on a friends recommendation. I thought it was a good concept, but was no where close to being finished. I actually got a refund and it looks like that was the right step to take
The whole inception of the War Z never sat well with me since its announcement. Being scheduled for release just a few months after the reveal and only producing a handful of screenshots. Footage took a little longer than I expected from a game so close to release. Also, Colorado doesn't look like that. Pretty clear they wanted to catch the DayZ wave before they were actually ready. Seems to have worked too.
Thought it looked pretty interesting when I saw it Steam. Guess I'll just keep waiting for the DayZ standalone...
Valve should take it off of Steam.
They actually have. XD
You have all these respectable Indie games trying hard to make it onto Steam via Greenlight....and then this game makes it (without Greenlight). :/ Where is the QC? I love Steam but this is unsat.
At least Steam has pulled it from being purchased. There is still a page for it, just only an "add to wishlist" option. http://store.steampowered.c...
