Ruaidhri goes through his back-catalogue of games to pick out 5 Open-World games that he believes didn't get the praise or attention they deserved.
Great game, terrible name.
oh that rhymed
I'm a poet and didn't know it.
The Saboteur is one of my favorite games, it really should have done better than it did. And it's even loosely based on on a real person, William Grover. The book "The Grand Prix Saboteurs" explains the real story.
Yeah, it was one hell of a game but gameplay felt clunky, especially when climbing. I have no idea why I stopped playing, might give it a go again.
Heck yeah! The Saboteur was a heck of a lot of fun. One of the few platinums I have I got playing this game. The story was interesting, the evasion was fun and there was tons of things to 'splode! It realy did deserve more attention, but it got burried by the avalanche of games that hit that year. I'd kill for a follow up even if it were set in a differenet era.
Interesting list... at least it's diverse. And The Saboteur was a cool game even if it was a bit repetitive. Too bad it was Pandemic's last game. Wish they would have made another Battlefield. They wouldn't have screwed up like Free Radical.
