Bravely Default is Getting a Sequel

Oprainfall writes:

"Today, a new page appeared on the Square Enix Members website related to Bravely Default Flying Fairy. Two things were announced on this page: a sequel to Bravely Default is in the works, and the development team have presented a survey for fans to answer questions and help make the sequel an even better experience." (3DS, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Dev, Square Enix)

Meanwhile, no sign of this game outside Japan... -_- Nice Enix, nice...

Enix was a fantastic developer.
Square was a fantastic developer.

Don't insult their memory.

The one to berate (and rightly so) is Square-Enix, which a very different entity altogether.

No I get that both Square and Enix were great, I was just shortening the name. Not insulting Enix in general for this or anything.

That's because we always be little every Japanese game.
Great games like Bravely Default are released in Japan only alot because of that reason.

Anyone I have heard taking about this game only has great things to say and it's great it is getting a sequel. However, this makes the fact that we don't have it in US/Europe even more depressing. Even if they could release it on the E-shop, I just want to experience this game!

Seriously many publishers have no idea what the fans want.

Still no mention of a release outside of Japan? This is why region locking games is terrible.

If it's popular enough for a sequel hopefully it's popular enough to release overseas.
