Ace Combat Assault Horizon: Enhanced Edition out in winter 2013, will have 60fps and better graphics
The previously announced PC version of Ace Combat Assault Horizon will be out in “winter 2013,″ and PC players can expect a smoother, prettier experience along with some DLC packed in.

This game has been really cheap for a while... I absolutely loved 4 and 5... If anyone's played this through, how does it stack up to those? Was the last mission really epic like those two? (Without spoilers please! I'd appreciate it!)
It was godawful. Terrible, limited mission design, and incoherent Call-of-Duty-storyline, and on-rails gameplay. Literally.
Maybe rent it? Or buy used so you can return? Or do what all of us Ace Combat fans did after playing it, and pretend it never existed in the first place?
minimizing spoilers is hard as the plots paper thin
its crap last mission consists of pinging an invincible enemy for about 15 minutes keeping him in the god awful dogfight mode as he fly's over major monuments of a town then popping him when he finally lines up for a bombing run then spamming missiles at the missile he launches to save the day
if you want a next gen ace combat play hawx even hawx 2 ace combat assault horizon is cod: Ariel warfare
aircraft health regenerates, the dogfight mode is fiddly and disoriantating while its optional its not the game is geared to use it and enemy dodge normal attacks far easier graphically its not that much better ~(non dfm) looks about like ace 5/6
story is crap its in our world and is a cod story.
multiplayer is an odd match of fun and abysmall decisons some of the trophys are so dumb its not funny
like 50 hours mutiplayer flight time, it take about 30 seconds to pick your plane weapons and spawn, and youll survive about 45 seconds .
so 50 hours of actual flying is bad.
i had high hopes for it until i heard they used cod modern warfare as a insiration.
in short playit because its ace combat then forget it because its not
