PlayStation Plus Update: Anomaly Warzone Earth Free for Members

Has been a good month so far. We got Bioshock 2, Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Rochard and now Anomaly Earth.

I played this game on PC (so I don't know how the console version is) but it's actually really good! Glad that PS+ members are once again getting more than their money's worth.

I have gotten a few strategy games from Plus that I would have never played, but become addicted after I do.

Mushroom Wars was a game I didn't really expect much from but I couldn't stop playing it. I just had to 100% it...I had to. lol

Hopefully Anomaly Earth sucks me in too!

Finally, something I don't already have... thinking about picking up the Vita version of Rayman Origins on the winter sale, but I'm afraid they'll be giving it for free in the near future. That always happens to me.

I was thinking the same thing, so I went to the Playstation Blog and found what Morgan Haro had to say about it.

"While some updates to the PS Vita Plus free games is coming shortly; there are some great deals on some PS Vita content with the Holiday Sale like LBP Vita and Rayman Origins. Those games are not slated to be free in Plus for PS Vita in the near future, so it may not be a bad idea to jump on those deals!"

It's better than paying 29.99 and finding out it will be free 6 months down the line. Even if that time comes, it will be 19.99/14.99 and that price would still be more than what you paid for it next week.

PS Plus is an excellent value.. Ill gladly renew my sub each year.. amazing how its so good that ppl buy it while being able to play games free online.. Great job on the features sony.. I will never pay for XBLG again

While I do agree that EU gets better selections or at least earlier, to be a plus member and not download the free offerings is just crazy.

Download it, try it, you may actually like it. I had no interest in a lot of games that I got for free then enjoyed once I got to play it.

If your into co op shooters and not playing PayDay that is just wrong. I would have missed out on quantum conundrum had it not been for playstation plus.

How to people complain about free? Mind you, Yes, I wish SCEA would give us the same offerings that SCEE gets sometimes. The releases should be global not region based in my opinion. I'd gladly trade the Resident Evil 5 garbage with any of the SCEE offerings.

But I haven't bought a game in months thanks to playstation plus. I'm just days away from canceling my gamefly account actually.

The only thing as good if not better than plus is Steam Sales.

Quality is a personal preference. Some find cod, resident evil, and bioshock to be quality games, I find them to be meh. Payday, comet crash, quantum conundrum, to be quality.

I got NEED FOR SPEED SHIFT free from plus, quality game, i can play that and motorstorm and it pretty much allowed me to get rid of gran turismo, the choice is debatable but I made the choice based on the menu system and difference in style.

There are options, and agreed not always on par with SCEE, but the reverse sometimes happens too, i've read many a mad European jealous of our selections sometimes.

SCEA needs some serious restructuring or there needs to be better synergy as sony at a much faster pace. Hoefully this wont be an issue next gen.

Hurry up and add some more PS Vita games to the instant game collection. I already had all those games before PS+ came to the Vita. I'd be happy to get Big Sky Infinity like EU Plus got.

I would have loved to see Kyntt Underground come to the IGC and I would also take some PSP games. I didn't play many PSP games, other the GTA games.
