@Neversoft YES DUMBASS THE WII U HAS AS. OF NOW 10 NATIVE 1080P AND 60FPS GAMES POSSIBLY MORE YOU DONT DO YO RESEARCH DO YOU
Wrong thread... All caps... Flaming. It's like you went for the trifecta of pwning yourself. All of the Wii U games will upscale to 1080p (I know, I own one) None of the launch ports are native 1080p, some aren't even native 720p. The 1st party releases are 720p but admittedly 60FPS. The only games I'm aware of that currently run in 1080p at 60FPS are Trine 2, Toki Tori 2 and Rayman Legends. I'm sure there are others, maybe Mighty Switch Force and Chasing Aurora but 10? More to the point, a 1080p platformer is likely to be significantly less technically challenging than some full 3D whizz-bang game. I don't doubt that the Wii U isn't capable of producing these games, I just haven't seen anything to suggest they're already available. I'm happy to be proven wrong, so please cite a source for your assertion that there's currently 10 Wii U games running in 1080p at 60FPS. You boast about your in-depth research but never back it up with facts. Credit where credit is due though... I'm a self-confessed Nintendo fanboy but I'm a rank amateur compared to you. (sorry for derailing the thread everybody)
"I don't doubt that the Wii U isn't capable of producing these games, I just haven't seen anything to suggest they're already available. " Correction: I meant to say "is capable"
