Resident Evil 6 Review | KitGuru

KitGuru writes:

I just cannot recommend this game, even if you like the series. It’s just atrociously executed and not even remotely frightening. It’s torturous in its length with little worthwhile incentive to force yourself through it multiple times. Not worth the money or time. (PC, PS3, Resident Evil 6, Xbox 360) 1.5/5

Resident evil 6= Beating a dead horse.

This game is not worth the discussion.

agreed. im a fan of series, it wasn't the best but i really enjoyed it. and that's the only thing really matters to me.

That sale you gave Capcom is like giving them a pat on the back and saying "you know what, it's okay that this is disappointing, carry on with what you're doing".

Do you really think Capcom are gonna move away from this disappointing direction that series has taken when the game is selling as well as it is? Good logic right there. Should've rented it.

The Game wasnt the best this Year, but its still well crafted, it has lots of Content, outstanding Viuals and Audio. So I see this Rating as an Attentiongrabber, nothing more. When i played it i really wanted to finish it even with a few annoying Problems along the way.

The game just has a lot of mechanics which prevent you from enjoying the game. I don't have a problem with the story, it has A LOT of content, but the camera view which is getting patched, and the quick time events is just so bad, probably the worst camera I've played since kingdom hearts 1 on the ps2. Still it's not a bad game, but it's not a great one either. I'd enjoy it more if the camera view was fixed and also the quick time events. There's a lot more I could complain about, like the levels being way too dark...but yeah...you get my point.

I strongly disliked this game, but a score like that should be held only for games that are broken or to glitch riddled to play and enjoy.
DigitalRaptor  +   887d ago
RE6 has an array of broken mechanics and bad implementations such as its poor cover system, shoddy camera that obstructs gameplay, frustratingly bad AI and excessive QTEs. Those factors alone should merit this game no more than 5/10. And that's before talking about the game as a part of the survival horror series.

I agree, however this score is not a 2.5/5 or a 5/10 it is a 1.5/5 which like I said before should be held for games that are unplayable. Just my opinion

People just need to quit playing RE games this-gen; they all sucked compared to the Dead Space series. RE games aren't even scary anymore
