5 Ways RPG Games Are Falling Behind

WC - The RPG genre is one that players will always enjoy. Who can deny the thrill of starting a new character and exploring a world, having full control over abilities and conversation options? The RPG is something special, something that allows us to exert more control over the world we will inhabit during the time with that game. (Culture)

RPGs feel like they're getting smaller, or if they have a lot of content, they're MMOs. I miss the days of games like Ultima 7 (single player) or Morrowind (also single player) having SO MUCH CONTENT and yet they weren't MMOs. Nowadays it takes four DLC packs to equal the content found in older RPGs.
