It’s a futuristic 3D racer complete with hovering upgradable jetcraft, weapons, power-ups and neon day-glo racetracks. Does this sound familiar to you? It reminds LAG author Kevin Moore of another game, you see. One that was released well over a decade ago, still retains cult status and still provides as pure an example of it’s genre as you can get. Even Flashout’s name sounds familiar.

DG - WipEout is the undisputedly fore-running futuristic racing game on any platform. Hence, it comes as no surprise that others would try to imitate it, and build upon its success. Enter Flashout 3D, a futuristic racer that bears an uncanny resemblance to WipEout, mixing racing with combat. Keeping aside its somewhat obvious similarities with WipEout, how does Flashout 3D fare in its own right?
Can't quite figure out what game this look like....It's kind of ridiculous what these mobile devs can get away with honestly.
