No Diablo 3 PvP in 2012 confirms Blizzard

Blizzard's Jay Wilson confirms that Diablo 3 PvP will not make a 2012 release. (Diablo III, PC)

Poor Blizzard. They simply cannot keep up with their games, now can they? I remember when interviewed, they said "at launch", then "mid 2012", and then "by the end of 2012". How long does it take to make a freakin' patch? My guess is that they'll sell it as a part of the Diablo 3 expansion pack.

Years ago, ex-employees at Origin (makers of Ultima Online) said that World of Warcraft would destroy Blizzard just like UO destroyed Origin. They might be right. The number of Blizzard games has decreased dramatically over the past few years since they have to keep updating and regulating WoW.

The real question is, who cares? Anyone still playing D3? And if they are, do they want PvP?
