(Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PS3)
sony is becoming a more evil corp :/ first online codes and now this.. wtf playstation stop it..
edit, i believe they do, why will they not? and what about online passes? not having good deals for digital games and over changing them and not been capable on keeping or having competitive prices? don't defend a corporation never, they are not humans.
SONY, PLAYSTATION let's start next gen with giving dlc free like it should to be. i'm ok with you charging extra colors or suit but maps or extra levels? stop it already.. giving free dls next gen will help them a lot to make new sales, give love and you will get love.. it's not that hard to understand.
I will have buy more games if dlc are free, more people will play them if dlc are free and communities will ge stronger and peopl will enjoy the games how was meant to be and fallow that franchise more.
The PS3 is the ONLY console to not have region-lock this gen (meaning PS3, Wii, and 360, though I'm not sure if the Wii U is region-locked or not). The only game that was EVER region-locked in its entire life so far is Persona 4 Arena a few months ago. This demo is the FIRST EVER region-locked demo in the entire PSN lifetime.
If there's anyone who region-blocked this demo, it's definitely NOT Sony. They're the ones who is fine with importing, so it's mostly Konami's decision to make it region-lock.
Information Minister explained it why,but some of you have ..... instead of a brain.after a stressed morning its good reading some of your comentters to have good lough hahaha.
Lmao I highly doubt that the DmC story can be better than a Metal Gear story by Kojima Productions (dialouge in Rising already looks way better than DmC) and gameplay wise Rising is being made by Platinum which is the company who basically created Devil May Cry and defined the genre and if the demo is anything to go by for DmC its going to be a pretty sucky game when compared to Devil May Cry (might be a close to decent game if you look at it as a new IP). Metal Gear Rising interestingly feels a lot more like Devil May Cry than DmC, being that Rising has a part human part something else white haired badass protagonist that has a very fast paced, stylish, skill needing fighting style with a whole lot of combo possibilities which further increase as you earn weapons after defeating the bosses who weilded those weapons, you search for secret VR missions throughout the game, there are interesting bosses, you gain BP points that are used to buy more moves, upgrades etc. all in 60 fps with a very high action rock soundtrack. I can't wait for Rising.
Yeah I want everyone to try the DMC demo to see how craptastic it is. Sorry but I'd play a Platinum game anytime since they have Hideki Kamiya, the one who made the orginal DMC and also directed Viewtiful Joe. I have great trust in Platinum that they'd make Rising fun and action packed. At first I wasn't interested in this game but after it was passed to Platinum, it really changed my mind and it is now in my list of games to look forward to.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooo. I was waiting to try this demo. Oh well, I´ve been waiting for a game like this ever since MGS1, so i guess i can wait a little longer.
Wow that is really weird of them, I bought the Japanese version of ZOE HD collection and was able to download the demo just fine...but I guess they decided to add the lock afterwards o_0
Platinum Games on Twitter : You'd have to ask Konami about that. Region locking/etc. is a publisher decision, not one made by the developer. ---- so yeah if you really want it go and buy ZOE HD or wait until february 2013
That seems to me like a motive for them to lock this demo. If there are people willing to buy ZOE HD just for the fact that it contains a MGR demo, this demo now launched would sway some of those from buying it.
The business side of games ruins stuff like this for people.
The thing is I don't even feel like plugging my ethernet cable to my PS3 in order to download this demo, feels like it'd be too much of an effort. Guess I'll pass.

If you ask me, I'd rather have those then be charged to play online.
But I agree, they can get pretty annoying.

Dudes, just stick to Ground Zeroes. This is "Bayonetta the Cybrog Edition".
*flies away*
.... oh wait
Japan can buy ZoE HD and play the demo included (like the rest of us) AND download/play the demo.(NOT like the rest of us)
Makes total sense/s
