This should be a nice bonus for my PS3 and Vita. :) Looking forward to seeing how the final product came out.

Can the maps made in lbp vita also be used to play on Lbp 2 for ps3?
SoundGamer  +   836d ago
No. You can use some items/costumes cross-platform and you can create new LBP 2 content that will incorporate the Vita's cross-controller function. But that's not a part of LBP PS Vita.

everyone is getting the trolling down bubble. I don't understand, some of these people aren't trolling.
Sithlord-Gamble  +   836d ago
I know. Im one of those people.
By pointing out that a wiiU vs Vita arguement had potential to happen; is trolling?
I have a Vita & I love it ... but I said nothing negative about the wiiU.
So im trolling but yet n4g approves potential flame bait articles constantly.
N4G is a joke. Gotta love it.

Can't wait to get the Cross-Controller pack. $4.99 for new levels, rewards, & create options plus new ways to play is a great deal. Plus all you need is a PS3, copy of LBP 2, & a Vita to take full advantage of the pack.

The Move pack was very well done so I have high expectations for this pack as well.

Score! :D

Why do we have to pay for a feature when the Vita was advertised, as a system, to have this ability?
TheUndertaker85  +   836d ago
Maybe because it's another experience being added to a game that's already out? New levels, new ways to play, new items to obtain, and new ways to create.

You won't need to buy the pack to use your Vita with LBP 2, just pay to play the Vita Cross-Controller specific levels which nets you those rewards and tools to build Cross-Controller experiences in your own levels.

But if that's not enough, they're supporting an almost two year old title with a massive DLC to expand the experience you can have with LBP 2.

If that's not enough it's only $4.99.

Actually, if this is anything similar to ps move add on, this feature will be free to use on user created levels BUT you cant use em when you're making levels.

So much troll flagging in this comment section.
rlacorne  +   836d ago
Hmmmm maybe I should buy a Vita now... I'll wait and see how many games use that feature first.
SoundGamer  +   836d ago
So far, I can think of about 4 games off of the top of my head that use cross-controller in one form or another.

Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, LBP 2, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
TheLastGuardian  +   836d ago
Can't wait for this. LBP2 is my favorite game of this gen, hands down. I'm surprised this is $5 and not $10 like the Move pack was. I'm getting this day 1.
WalterWJR  +   835d ago
do i need both games for this to work, I currently only have LBP2?
SoundGamer  +   834d ago
You only need LBP 2 (a PS3 obviously) and a PS Vita.

One game, two systems.
