I have only recently played Blood Money on my PC and I love it. Is this an indication that this collection is for me or was that like a 1 off thing? It really looks like my sort of franchise and I don't know how I have missed out on it all these years.

BloodMoney is a lot more forgiving than Hitman2, where NPCs can quickly see through your disguise.

Contracts has some parts which are a bit linear, but I liked the overall darker atmosphere of the game.

That was my only gripe with blood money, compared to the others the difficulty was majorly toned down.

Thank god!

Hitman 2 was in dire need of a facelift!

While this is excellent news, I wonder how much different Blood Money will look. I mean, it was on the Xbox 360 already.

I have it for PS2 and the 360 version def had it's upsides in terms on allowing more on screen action and smoother running all around but the visuals were only a minor upgrade considering the PS2 version had a Progressive Scan option if you had Component RGB cables and an HDTV to take advantage of it.

I could see an updated version def looking better and having any and all kinks worked out. Plus those who haven't played before can experiance the best version of it now no matter the platform.

I'm looking forward to finally giving the Hitman series a try. It's just a series I never got around to playing... Which is odd, considering that the description of the gameplay sounds like my perfect cup of tea.

I think it has something to do with the copyright on some soundtrack song. Hitman: Codename 47 wasn't on the PS2 collection either. Contracts had some of the first one's levels though.

I was just thinking about how much I missed this level and that level from the past Hitman games. I've enjoyed Absolution so far, but those classic amazing levels seem to be missing for the most part. There have been some highly memorable levels, and others I've had to run through...

As far as the past games are concerned...The Mansion in Hitman 2, the clown birthday party, the Christmas party with the hot tub, the meat factory in Contracts...I could go on and on about how awesome most of those levels were. Can't wait to play them in glorious HD.
