Dude I researched that the moment Miranda was introduced in ME2.
Miranda is my #1 female character in all of gaming. Used to be Lara Croft. Lets see how the new younger and more...."energetic" Lara is portrayed, she could very well take the #1 spot once again on my favorite female character of all time list.

Sylvanas Windrunner (World of Warcraft)- Everything in wow looks dated and blocky...and for a dead girl...a dead elf girl...always thought Sylvanas was nice.
Poison Ivy (Batman AC)- Not the best representation of Ivy I've seen (google Poison Ivy Widening Gyre...great book also) but it will do. Oh...and that fountain below her...yeah...
Shahdee (Prince of Persia WW)- Everyone loved the hot woman in the red dress but me? It's all about Shadee and that ass of her's. She the woman in black that forgot to wear pants.
I read this and thought, "How can this be considered strangely attractive? All of these characters were obviously drawn to appear sexy in the eyes of men, even that bat/spider looking woman from StarCraft. "
But then I saw that it was written by a woman and suddenly I understand it. As I was telling another female poster the other day. There is a simple formula for what men find attractive.
Keep the weight off + Attempt to look pretty = You are hot enough to make men dumber when you are around.
Being in a video game or on TV has nothing to do with it.

All men, especially a man young enough to be playing a video game, would do all those video game women if it was possible and he had no fear of punishment. Fear of his wife or girlfriend may stop him, or fear God or fear of losing his social position may stop him, but the fact that she is a blue alien or has spider legs growing out of her back is not going slow him down.
Well in all fairness each one of these girls sport a bikini, well toned body and at least a C/D cup size chest. Isn't too hard to find attractiveness with those qualities.
I never found any1 on that list attractive in truth. Strangely attractive would imply that the attraction cannot be explained.
Honestly like Tali from Mass Effect. Nobody even knew what the hell she looked like but she garnered so many fanboys flocking to her every whim! She could have been scaly for all they knew!
As for the posts above. There's nothing strange about liking Lara Croft or Samus or anybody like that since they're designed to look like attractive women with sculpted bodies to begin with.
