Halo 4 Infinity Multiplayer Review | Game Insider

Game Insider: "Spartan Ops, while ambitious, has been a bit underwhelming, but I remain cautiously optimistic about its return in January. However, it is all still Halo, and as such, will not win over those who never liked the game in the first place. Despite some minor faults, Infinity multiplayer is a return to form, an experience that will keep Halo fans busy well into the new year." (Halo 4, Xbox 360) 9.4/10

No more need for map control due to random weapon drops
AAs are more bullshit than ever
The loadout system undoes what Halo was about, starting on equal footing
Personal ordnance adds more randomness
Maps are too big thanks to sprint

I could go on. Only people who understand what made Halo Halo should be reviewing this. 343 tried to appeal to the wrong crowd here.

Doesn't deserve a 9.4

I agree 100%. Halo 4 isn't Halo.

"I agree 100%. Halo 4 isn't Halo."

Thank goodness for that. If i want to play Halo I just just pop in the dlc from Halo reach and play it. I dont want that duplicated game experience.

I want something more combat evolved. Halo 4 fits the bill nicely for me, tyvm.

I think you define "Halo" in much different terms than I, and many others who have enjoyed the title through the years. Whether or not you agree with me or others matters little, after all, experiences are primarily subjective. So how you define halo and how I define halo aren't mutually exclusive, but simply two perspectives of the same thing.

The discomfort of change is better than ennui of complacency. If Halo didn't evolve through the years, it would exist contrary to what it birthed in the first place with Halo: Combat Evolved.

Embrace the change.
