Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Wii U Review [Capsule Computers]

Dustin Spencer from Capsule Computers wrote :

Just two years ago, Sega released a surprisingly solid kart racer by the name of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. While not revolutionary, the sheer speed of the game and fan service sprinkled in made for a fantastic spin-off for the blue wonder and friends, leaving many hungry for more. Fast forward to the present, and we have a new sequel by the name of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. These famed racers can now “transform” their own vehicles in order to take to the skies and water. (PS3, Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed, Wii U, Xbox 360) 9/10

Liked the look of this when I saw an advert recently, up to the point where the car starts turning into a plane then a boat...at that point my interest level just dropped to meh, lame gimmicks.

I have to disagree. This game is very fun. It is no Mario Kart but I don't think it is trying to be. For me it is more like DK racing on the N64 but with its own twist.

If you can download a demo of this game you should you might be surprised at how fun the game is.
