With Resident Evil 5 and 6 getting mixed reviews was 4 a peak in the series? Max tackles the game (decapitated) head on.
If you're looking for 'must have' PSVR 2 games then look no further. These are the 10 titles every PSVR 2 owner should have in their library.
If you're wanting more PSVR 2 support, you should probably buy all of these games.
Speak with your wallet!
I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the multiplatform title Resident Evil 4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide approximately one year after its release.
The Resident Evil 4 remake's director has revealed in a recent documentary that the game was riddled with bugs in its final month before launch.
Not a big surprise really. All games are pretty rough until the very end and everything is released with bugs regardless of how the consumer quantifies it as being “polished.”
That’s sort of how game development or any kind of software development goes. Looking for bugs and debugging, QA, and trying to scramble and polish everything before a deadline’s up.
Resident Evil 4 is amazing and blends together action / horror in the correct way. The atmosphere and tone it sets are quite perfect for the type of game it was trying to be. It was a huge step forward for the series. The series needed a change at the time and I am glad it happened... sort of. I have no issue with Resi4. However, they built on Resident Evil 4 in the wrong way for the sequels. Its funny how its highest point was the beginning of the decline. I still enjoyed Resident Evil 5, though. Hopefully they will look back at Resident Evil 4 and see what made it so great and apply themselves to deliver action / horror in the correct way once again. Hopefully the series will ascend. Resident Evil for the 3DS was a ray of hope. Fingers crossed.
At the time this game amazed me and still does. I succeeded in buying the HD Edition for a reduced price on it's release date due to a pricing error on the Playstation Store. It's a huge shame that the HD edition lacked a Platinum trophy because I've got 100% and after 3 or 4 playthroughs of the HD Edition (plus the abundance of playthroughs I did on the standard Ps2 copy), in wanting more.
Evern though Resi 4 was, and still is a great game that I truely enjoyed, after seeing what was berthed out of it has mad me actually wish it never happened. Though it was a great game, I feel it changed too much of the original spirit of what fans loved so much about the series and as a result, destroyed the series.
It is still one of my favorite games of all time and one of my most replayed games. It was the perfect mix of action and horror. I know fans of the earlier titles didn't like the changes it made, but I feel it was just what the series needed. Now that did come at a cost with what followed 4. But I still hold it in high regards as one of the best games of last generation.
