IGN - The Last of Us is bar none the biggest PS3 exclusive of 2013, and IGNs Colin and Andrew jump into the newest trailer to point out.

From some bits of the trailer I can see that they live in a quarantine area. Ellie doesn't know much of the outer part since I hear her say "It can't be much worst out there than in here can't it?" Then later she questions Joel why he's so afraid. The more I see the more I'm intrigue with the narrative. It's going to be one hell of a ride that's for sure.
I have such an appreciation for these AAA Sony first party games that are trend setters and unlike anything seen elsewhere on any other system. The attention to detail in the dialog, story, animations, graphics, physics and all sorts are above anything else out there. People talk about innovation but these first party devs of Sony are the ones innovating with their ideas and improving upon old ideas from the past.
This game looks amazing and I've never seen anything like it much less play it and from the bits I gather from a few previews and trailers this game is amazing. Look at a game like zombie u and compare it to a game like the last of us which is on a 6yr old console the ps3. A new console the Wii u of this year has zombie u and a bunch of sheep keep making excuses about how easy it is to develop for but its a new system so its hard to harness the true power. Id never waste my time and money buying an inferior console like Wii u to play bad games and make excuses about why the games aren't up to the standards of old systems.
I love supporting awesome devs and I love for them to succeed. I remember when uncharted 1 was releasing and reviewers were saying its not a good game but a mediocre one which I couldn't believe. Naughty dog had to improve upon an awesome formula which seemed like a gen above the other standards just to get noticed for there work. Guerilla games had to do it also, they had to innovate and improve upon the standards and mediocrity. I respect real work and not hype
I can't wait to buy this first day. Games like the last of us are why I don't buy and support bad games, bad devs, and bad game systems because you'll continue to get bad games and bad systems. I can't wait for the ps4 that'll be backed by great developers.
Exactly!!!! Sony innovates with narrative and bring these characters to life. Fanboyism aside when it comes to presentation most of Sony first parties delivers. No one does mo-cap and voice acting like Naughty Dog!

Great post man, but where exactly did you read these reviews? Pretty much almost every review for Uncharted 1 praised the game and it even came close to achieving a 90% score on metacritic.
I can't help but describe TLOU as overwhelming. It just seems as if it's way too good to be true and it virtually looks like it will come close to perfection. Damn, Q1 and Q2 2013 are going to be awesome!
