PSVitaFront writes: "Black Ops Declassified is not the best game on PlayStation Vita, but it makes many things right for a Shooter on the go."
Common sense review. It's not bad but its not great either, its a mediocre to good game and should have a score illustrating that
I picked it up recently and totally agree. The press were absurdly hard on this title. If you are a CoD fan and want some FPS action on the go it is the best product out there, IMHO and does not merit all these sub-5 scores it has gotten. But that said, it is not a Vita GotY candidate either. Just a nice solid portable title for fans of the genre. This title has generated a lot of unwarranted hate. I'm glad I ignored the reviews on it.
The press was hard because they expected the equivalent of Black Ops 2 on the Vita. People don't realize that the Vita's full potential hasn't yet been reached as it's only been on the market for a year whereas consoles have been on the market for over 6 years. Compare 2006 console games to 2012 console games. Night and day.
They also don't realize the game is only 2 gigs in size, compared to its 12 gig blu ray disc console cousin this game is good. I still don't understand why they compare the two with these kinds of restrictions on handheld games.
2/10 is for a game that is almost completly broken or in many points 7/10 is for a really great game but not perfect So I say between 4 and 5, not a 7
Hmm, I don't think Skyrim got many 2/10s...
Finally a real rating, scores were too low everywhere else. I've seen a 0.5/5. That's unplayable, this game is the closest to console fps on a handheld hands down. not great but pretty good. Next installment will be better.
Im sorry to disappoint you but the game sucks. 0.5 sounds about right
Kingtrash, thats if they make another installment
