We all know that nostalgia is a strange thing. Something you remember being great can turn out to be pretty bad at a later time. Is it your memory playing tricks on you or is it just that your standards have risen over time? It may just be that the game hasn't aged well. With great fear and trepidation that a game Game-Modo love would turn out to be rubbish and that Game-Modo was a victim of nostalgia, Game-Modo ventured back into the world of Bloodlines. Thankfully, like a fine scotch, it has aged well and it's still a fantastic thing to sit down and relax with.

I really enjoyed Vampyr. The combat is a little clunky and could use some work. However, the story, characters, dialog. setting, and pretty much everything else in the game is great.
