Old Game Plus: Today we take a look at a particularly well known movie tie-in from yesteryear: Jurassic Park for the Super Nintendo!
With dinosaurs, guns, open-world gameplay and first person shooter action that was technically impressive for its time, will Jurassic Park for the SNES shine above licensed games of the early nineties, or has it been demolished beneath the wheels of progress?
And also at 1:30 I didn't know robocop was in this game.
There was a glitch too with the dinosaur eggs (which gave you extra lives in the games).. just move off to the side of the screen (but still be able to see where you picked the egg up from) and the egg would reappear - rinse and repeat (upto 99 lives, which was the max). I was disappointed with the ending - I was expecting (at the very least) a cut scene or something but once you got to the helipad, the screen would start rotating with that Mode 7 the SNES liked to do and then it would fade out to white and you got the message "You escaped from Jurassic Park".. like I said disappointing.
