New ‘God of War: Ascension’ images show Ares, Zeus and more
Publisher Sony Computer Entertainment America has revealed a new set of artwork images for their upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive title, “God of War: Ascension.”

Sony Santa Monica are the masters of optimisation for consoles this gen.
343 made Halo 4 look fantastic and Epic made Gears 3 the best of that series too.
But Santa Monica are one of the few people this gen to actually make me take a step back alongside Naughty Dog and say "Holy hell! how did they make it look THAT much better than the previous title!".
I joined the God Of War party late when i picked up GOW3 and eventually HD collection and i love the series. If they made GOW3 look that good 2 years ago and GOW:A looks this good at beta/demo stage, only the gods can imagine the final product (pun intended).
The combat may not be as deep or varied as DMC/Bayonetta, but the brutality, presentation and just sheer playability is outstanding and SSM should be applauded for their contributions to the Hack 'n Slash genre.
Trust me they won't. The team grew massively in size to ensure that both the single player and multiplayer are as polished and amazing as can possibly be.
God of War: Ascension will have the best single player campaign in the series, it takes all of the best things from the other 5 games, updates the things that could be better and all of that has been put into one game.
This is Santa Monica we're talking about here. I have faith in them. If anything, they would probably improve on previous titles in certain areas but lets wait and see.
Not sure how i feel about that... Unless they decide to expand the single player through dlc, that might piss some people off.. Multiplayer should be a secondary focus for a game like this.. Im still buying it tho, cant pass up another kratos experience
I feel like this game isn't getting enough hype. This is both a good thing and somewhat bad thing. However, I am truly excited for this game and getting it day one. We just a single player story video for it and I am set.
I don't think any game can standout well. There are just too many AAA games coming out in 2013. God of War, GTA5, Last of Us, Tomb Raider, Bioshock, and so many more. The year 2013 as a whole is more important than any single game. Also don't forget the single player hasn't been shown which is the most important part of any God of War game.
