GameCritics: "Although Connor Kenway fights for freedom in a war that was presumably about liberty, Ubisoft makes the player a slave to their particular vision. I can see the irony in that, but I can't see the point, even if it's for my own good."
Didn't even click on the article. Pure crap.
I think they review a lot of games lower than average. Uncharted 3 got a 7.5/10. Not a bad score, just indicative of them scoring lower than average. I checked their site, but how come you can't see the review scores on their website? Just the reviews. Anyone help me out here?
or maybe they just value different elements of games than you? Not everyone is into the whole cinematic gaming deal.
I never said their reviews were wrong, just that they always seem to be lower than average. Gears of war 3: 6.5 Mass Effect 3: 8.5 Halo 3: 7 Heavy Rain: 4 Darksiders 2: 6 Those are all below the average review score for those games. The Heavy Rain review is 5/10 marks lower than average. I can safely say at least that one is retarded.
6/10 is a bit harsh, I'm thinking 8/10, any gaming site that have Assassins Creed anything from 9/10 and up is on something.
I don't think 6/10 is harsh at all. I can absolutely see people giving it that. It's about a 7.5/10 for me, but there are so many frustrating mechanics and glitches that made me want to give up and never play again at many points during the game. I'd say story is 10/10, but gameplay is only about 5/10. Different strokes for different folks.
I really enjoy AC 3 and can't wait for the Washington DLC *gets burnt at the stake by an angry mob*
