How is chief a spartan? The program is called spartan. That does not make him an actual Spartan which Kratos is. Btw Kratos > master chef....deliberate misspelling
Spartans are remembered not because of where they're from but their legendary training practices. In this way they are both Spartans. If you read the books they follow a very similar training practice albeit with technology on their side.
Spartans weren't necessarily that by blood. Where they were from DID count, but wages of sin is right in saying it was about their training. Or rather, it was their training resulted in such superb soldiers.
