I prefer Call of Duty, there's more variety.

And is this running on a playstation console? I noticed major screen tearing, framerate droppage, and negatative graphical externalities.....hmm......

/my opinion though

Since the latest patch it runs like Crap on the ps3. Hear sdtv users have it even worse

Stop b*tching, I've never had any problems on PS3 with BF3

Ya I can't see teleporting or put a clip into someone.. Get a clue I love BF3 but the latest PS3 patch fixed the sound but made the lag 1000% worse

Dice is sorry that they're not running their game on a 10 year old engine. Could explain the graphical/performance issues on these weak consoles.

OT
i find it to be a great game mode. Brings in a nice challenge when you start with only your handgun.

well excuse dice for not using idtech 3 on there game instead of an actually good looking engine.

Hey guys I love battlefield 3 but i feel that ps3 just isn't powerful enough to run it and give us gamers the experience we deserve. The player cap is something everybody wants to be improved on console to the pc cap of 64 but because of playstations weak performance engine its impossible but in saying that i think they have done exceptionally well with Battlefield 3 as a game. It has its problems but they fix it in the end.

The problem is not power output. The PlayStation 3 is MORE than capable of handling Battlefield 3. Problem is the infrastructure for the console is a lot more complex than the Xbox 360 or PC, thus developing for the PS3 proves more difficult as it requires knowledge of essentially an entirely different process. However that said, I believe DICE has done a great job porting it in comparison to other devs this generation.
