With every Superman game that has come out to date, it has pretty much sucked the life of gamers. They've all come in with the same formula - saving the city, people, flying trucks, maniacs - all that with super flying, wham! bam! action and within a limited time...and FAILED. Is it time to finally take a deeper look at the way Superman - The Man of Steel should be played?

Rocksteady has done an amazing job with Batman, and I think they have really set the bar for how a comic hero game should be developed and presented. I hope Batman Arkham Asylum and its sequel become a positive example for future developers creating games based on comic book heroes.
I think a Superman RPG could work quite well, if they create a story that really places the weight of the world on Superman's shoulders.
Beenox is also a great studio for super hero games. Spiderman Shattered Dimensions was really quite fun and good fan service, especially for someone like me who enjoys reading the comics. Although they could do better with the character animations, they feel too light
