IGN-Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus Review

IGN:When Guilty Gear smashed onto the fighting scene in the late 90's with its outrageous characters and towering guitar riffs, it was like a brass-knuckled punch to the gut...in a totally awesome way. Mainstream 2D fighters had mostly been wallowing in the shallow pool of martial arts tropes, but Arc System Works just stomped their way into the sandbox and asked, “Heavy metal and anime!?”, then proceeded to melt faces with a fast, fun, highly technical fighting game that took everyone by surprise. (Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, PS3, Xbox 360) 8.3/10
