Weighing the Balance Between Gameplay and Story

one doesn't work without the other

100% good game play would have a gamer wanting to know more about the game itself and can determine weather the game is classic, or complete shallow.

and having 100% story will have the gamer expectation of the game play really high, and possibly win multiple awards.
