Far Cry 3 Review: The Island of Dr. More-Bro | GameFront

GameFront writes:

"There must have been people working on Far Cry 3 who planted virtual shrubs for a living, full time, for however many months it was in development. No digital biome has ever looked so lush, so real. As a technical accomplishment, the game surely ranks among the most impressive ever. Ubisoft Montreal expanded Far Cry 2′s land area by a factor of ten, summoning another island into the Southeast Asian archipelago like some kind of Quebecois volcano." (Far Cry 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 70/100

The review does have a point

It's basically Towers / Outposts / Wanted/Hunter missions and that group is just repeated. Though I am only now getting bored of these same group of tasks and I am 32 hours in. So it did take a while for me to slowly become bored of doing these same sets of things, but I am still going for them.

It does somewhat lack variety in things to do, but the beauty of this game is the exploration.

Its so fun just exploring this lush island.
The gunplay is fantastic, fun and accompanied with the stealth mechanics of this game, it is a friggen blast!

This more then makes up for the rinse/repeat set of missions.

But yes, if there would have to be one improvement that needed to be made, is more variety it what you could do as far as 'mission types'.

Still 70/100 is a bit low. I'd easily give this game 90/100.
