Yay! I've already spent $80 on the eShop ($60 for ZombiU, $20 for Trine2), so I guess I'll get back about $8, which will go towards Nano Assault Neo or another future eShop title (already own Mighty Switch Force and Mutant Mudds on my 3DS). :)
I know, I bought AC3, Scribblenauts, Trine 2 and Nano Assault Neo in digital form. That's a bunch of credits already!
Edit - I already earned 2 $5 gift cards, which is nice. The only problem is I end up with 496 points left over. 4 measley points shy of another $5 code. Talk about a bummer there.
Aw, crap, I didn't know it gave you credit in a $5 by $5 basis. I guess that makes sense from a marketing standpoint, I mean, you for example, will have to buy something else on the eShop to gain those pesky 4 points you need to get another $5 credit... and then... you will get even more credits that will be short of another $5 bonus... so you'll buy something again...
Sneaky Nintendo. This is kind of assholish, but it's genius.
digital is fail sureee you get your 8 bux back but in a month when that game is sitting on your hdd doing nothing and cant be traded for a $40 gamestop credit compared to you swift 8 bux.....
I'd be interested in this if they would remove the drm that ties the download to a single console. I'd like to be able to move my external drive from one room to another and be able to play the game. I guess I'll need to stick to physical copies until they fix this. I would be very angry if I purchased hundreds of dollars worth of games and have my console break. As it is I would lose all those games if even though I had a second console.
Digital is the way to go (for me, anyway :P)!

I'm seriously considering the same!
