Face-Off: Assassin's Creed 3 on Wii U

EG:Now we have the Wii U version to add to the collection, released just a day after the console's European launch. Despite Nintendo's dogged efforts to keep the console's raw hardware specs veiled, the recent revelation that its three CPU cores are clocked to a modest 1.24GHz value does put the lacking performance of some multi-platform releases such as Batman: Arkham City into perspective. It's perhaps an example of how tasks traditionally assigned to the processor such as AI routines, physics and in-game animation systems can potentially be the performance pitfall if not accommodated carefully - a growing pain usually associate (Assassin's Creed III, Wii U)

This is why I love Digital Foundry, they got an in-depth analysis and do a marvelous job comparing all consoles and PC! I used to go to lens of truth but they've gotten to the point where they're just lazy when comparing all consoles and not even including PC. Great job! (edit) Ubisoft did a great job porting the game over to the Wii U and getting it to look nearly identical on all 3 consoles, PC being the best for using DX11 and tessellation. I can't wait to see games that are optimized on the Wii U and future consoles. This generation is nearly complete!

when this gen is over, the wii u goes right along with it.. It will have a very small amount of future multiplats & a very small amount of current multiplats.. Nintendo will need to rely on 1st party magic once again cuz 3rd party isnt selling squat on there or 3ds
