First, just because a publisher gets high marks for affordability does not mean that their games are the best. In fact, just like with everything in life, the best games are usually the most expensive. Second, this blog post is DRM and platform neutral. Both are important factors in making a purchasing decision but probably not the deciding factor for most gamers. Third, we're only talking about PC digital distribution. Retail boxed versions almost always are more expensive than their digital counterparts and the console gaming market is a completely different animal with used games vs. length of game vs. game passes. Last, this blog post focuses only on the AAA publishers. There are some great deals out there for indie games but they are more difficult to cost compare.
