Although Rockstar Games has not yet officially revealed the date, Amazon has let it slip. GTA V will hit the PS3 and the Xbox 360 on June 19th, on the very edge of the publisher’s promised “Spring” release date.

I'm fine with June, especially since I'll be buying Sly 4, Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite, and God of War Ascension in February/March. Not to mention I have Dishonored sitting here sealed from the Black Friday sale, as well as Okami HD on the hard drive.
Agreed. I was already having to decide which games to chop from the mass March release so it didn't interfere with GTA, because I believes it would hit April. Looks like I might be safe now.
I don't have any games coming out in June that I want or even know that are coming out. If this is true, it's alright with me, but not for other people who are really looking forward to it.
I bet its not accurate. Amazon have a habit of putting in placeholders and most of the time they are wrong. June isn't even in spring its officially summer.

June 19 is a Wednesday so no, that will not be the release date. June 18 is a possibility, but I expect the game in either April or May, leaning towards May 21 because Rockstar has released a game on the third Tuesday in May for the past 3 years straight now (RDR 5/18/10, LAN 5/17/11, MP3 5/15/12).
If I recall correctly between the first announced release date of GTA IV and the actual one there was nearly 6 or 7 months. Let's hope there are no delays this time.
