Rumored PS4 technology could cause side effects

Another week and another rumor for the PlayStation 4, this time there’s a rumor that the PS4 could take advantage of an eye-tracking system, but there are concerns that such technology could cause side effects. However, as always this rumored PS4 technology needs to be taken at face value, but it’s certainly an interesting notion.

The patent filing was said to have been filed a while ago now and is for a magnetic contact, which would mean that the user would place content lenses in their eyes and the sensors on the PS4 would be able to track the movements of the users eyes. Something like this does sound a little far-fetched, but you can see that a company has already made strides in this kind of technology. (Next-Gen, Tag Invalid)

It doesn't matter because this just isn't going to ever be released.

I think instead they will focus on genetic engineering to give us the ability to shoots laser beams from our eyes making them much more easy to track.

That's just about as likely to happen as a game system requiring people to wear special contact lenses to use it.

Rumors from idiotic websites are far more damaging to the population.

Contacts...REALLY

They want people to put something in their eyes, hell people with contacts already don't like putting them in their eyes.

Yeah I highly doubt this is true.

This will not be in the PS4 - please! Every Sony patent does not make it into the PS4.

It's all part of Sony's ultimate plan to end the world. They are in the inner circle, you should fear them.

What exactly can tracking my eyes do for a game? This just seems like a wasted feature which won't go anywhere if it makes it in PS4.

Yeah lets risk one of the most important organs for gaming and entertainment. Sony needs to shelve this for the time being.

Unless a handle full of PlayStation fans wanna become Guinea Pigs for Sony.

I see were starting early on the PS4. The console is not even out yet. Next they'll say that the PS4 will give cancer.
