OPM: Dead Island Riptide creative producer Anthony Cardahi has spoken about the zombi sequel’s new features which include new defendable hub areas, improved gun play and fresh zombies types.
If the zombies run through walls and are able to go underground, like they were when I played Dead Island, then barricades and mines will be useless.
Weird I bought it at launch and never had that happen. PS3 version.
PS3 version here too. Bugs are weird. Dead Island was hands down the buggiest game I've ever played, yet Skyrim ran mostly ok for me. Besides what I said above, I had quest rewards not given to me, vehicles vanish while I was driving them, thrown weapons would fall into the ground, and weapons I had just made vanished from my inventory as soon as I stepped away from the workbench. The worst thing was the autosave not working so I did large parts of the game 2, 3, 4, even 5 times before I got credit. It got so bad that I didn't want to turn the game off and risk losing all my progress. Also when I tried to co-op with my friend we both had massive freezing problems. It was bad. All that was with a launch copy as well.
