Stock up on Kleenex, folks. Bioware has announced that they’re working on emotional new DLC for Mass Effect 3, and a lot of big names are working on it.
Wow. It's gonna be that bad, huh?
LOL Edit: Don't know if this is intentional, but... Your name sounds dangerously similar to Zimbabwe.
the original ending left me in tears... so bad
The new DLC will corrupt your PS3 and 360 memory. That is how the tears shall flow.
People already seemed to be crying alot after after putting in all those hours over three full games to get that ending that they got.
IT's not like they can make the game any worse. What's stunning to me is that they're making enough money off ME3 DLC to continue supporting it, period. This goddamned Call of Duty demographic has really turned too many good franchises to shit.
I'll co-sign that. They'll buy anything. They already have us paying for things that should be and used to be free. Now the developers trying to charge us to unlock parts of games they we have already bought. Next they are going to be charging us full price for unfinished games.....Oh! wait.
dont be confused, the COD generation may have changed gaming, but theyll mess it up even more when they grow up and their parents stop paying for their games. theyre not directly supporting it. maybe then these companies will figure it out. but then again, there will be alot of first console game console owners next gen.
yeah.. this will leave gamers in tears.. which will make gamers go crazy and then developers will have to go back and change it. sorry had to say it.. lol joking aside.. why would a DLC include a critical part of the story to have that kind of impact on gamers? isnt that supposed to be what the main game is? strange gaming world.
Not sure what they can do. The third game already had two heavy moments for me (neither of them were the ending) and I don't see how it can get worse unless they decide to kill off a main character or the like.
the pc versions of mass effect left me in tears no controller support
What are they going to do through...if it's single player then I'm guessing the only way left to go is expand on <SPOLIERS> the ending where you see Shepard breathe, however I would then feel like that they are trying to make us pay for the real, real ending...since the first Epilogue DLC which was free despite being just a slideshow, AKA someone cheap to please fans, then giving us a 2nd one which is actually the real ending where we have to pay...
...boy this is going to get confusing, if this was there plan all along then very smart...very, very smart. Although you would of gotten this out quicker if you guys didn't waste your time on the multiplayer.
Unlikely that it will take place after Shepard breaths. For a number of reasons, mostly notably being that that ending is not something everyone has - some people wouldn't be able to play the DLC if they didn't destroy. All the DLC thus far as been readily available to the player from nearly any point of the game. Not just Mass Effect 3's but going all the way back to the first Mass Effect. The DLC typically is something anyone can buy and play pretty much right away despite where they are in the story. I wouldn't be against a "continue after destroy ending" DLC personally but I really doubt they'd do that. The Extended Cut wasn't great, in any sense of the word, but it was more than just a slideshow. It had quite a few very nice cutscenes involved with some decent CGI. Other than that it didn't really do much, but still. It was bad but it was a bit more than JUST slideshows. The 'guys' wasting their time with multiplayer are not the same guys who work on single player. They're two different studios. Its two separate teams in two different parts of the world. It isn't like a big office where one side of the room focuses on this and the other focuses on that. SP and MP have their own studios. If I remember correctly they are BioWare Edmoton and BioWare Montreal.
i bet the ending will still way more devastating.
The ending of Mass Effect 3 made me cry in the shower.
The ending made me return the game back to Game Stop. Never got to see the alternate ending.
Probably after we see the price
I loved ME3. People over reacted a shit ton at the ending. I hope it's with Joker on the planet at the end of the game.
Yup, I'll be crying alright. Not because it's sad though.
We will be crying because there will be DLC for the DLC available on release.
They did that to me already with the ending to ME3,even with those 3 ending am still in tears.
It better. I was disappointed that the Omega DLC wasn't more personal like Lair of the Shadow Broker.
Is Mass Effect even still relevant? They ruined the entire franchise for me in a matter of 30 seconds.
I was in tears when my Mass Effect 2 achievement didn't unlock. I can't look at the series without feeling disappointed.
Hard to say what is going to happen here. I would not be surprised if there is an indoctrination dlc just like clever noob predicted
Mourned the loss of Bioware a LONG time ago. I have no more tears to shed.
I doubt this will make me cry. There's only two events that made me cry. one is the mass effect 3 ending because of all of those years I have wasted. Second moment was when I fell off my second story balcony and my groin area collided with a barrier.....I was in tears for days.
Spoilers: This DLC will add 69 new dance moves.
In tears you say? Lets see... 1. It won't change the ending. 2. It will be the last DLC. 3. Love Interest kills him/herself over your death. 4. Every squadmember dies. 5. It costs 10 dollars more than what its worth. 6. You wake up. Lots of potential for tears. Looking forward to seeing what they're bringing up. Here's hoping the tears are for something good. Partially related note: To everyone who cries about the ending ruining the game and how the last few minutes killed it for you... really? It took the ending to kill it for you? Sure, the ending was the worst part but come on... it died a lot sooner than that, ending was just the final insult.
