Five Ways Zelda Wii U Can Kick Butt

Zelda Wii U is an inevitable creation that is presently being worked on by Eiji Aonuma and company over at Nintendo EAD. Sure, Zelda 3DS is also in the works over there, but Zelda Informer will touch more on that topic some other time. Rather, now that the Wii U is out Zelda Informer should address some things, five to be exact, that would make the next great console Zelda title totally kick copious amounts of butt.

Okay article, but Nintendo has already addressed some of this stuff. Retro is building the new game engine for Zelda and Metroid. The Zelda coming up is to be the "biggest most detailed game" Nintendo has ever done. So I can imagine its going to be a 50+hour game and very nice to look at. I bet Retro will develop Metroid, and Metroid on Wii Looked better than most 360 games its first 2 years out. So I can Also see Metroid on Wii U being AMAZING...

I hope (but also doubt) Retro would also develop the Zelda title alongside Metroid. I believe the game would've turned out way cooler than it would if it was developed by Nintendo Japan. Metroid Prime was feared among many Nintendo fans that the game would turn out a mediocre 2D to 3D leap for the franchise but Retro proven all of them wrong, with a game that far exceeded beyond their expectations.

Will they stick with the motion plus sword play or ditch it completely for the game pad?

I'd love motion plus, but have the gamepad setup for a dungeon map(Like Pikmin 3). I don't know why that was removed from the hud in Skyward Sword, but it really bothered me.

I believe most Wii U games will have multiple control setups depending what you prefer...Gamepad, CCP, Wiimote. And soon the Power Glove 2, lol j/k

If it turns out good enough I will MAYBE pick up a Wii U just for this game. But this MAYBE is a loooooonnnnnng stretch.

I really hope they stick with the water color style. I absolutely loved it! I remember a number of months back Retro was posting jobs for someone to make hand painted textures. Perhaps it's for a Zelda engine?

I bet Nintendo won't release any triple A games until Ps4 and 720 are around the corner.
